BIOGRAPHY
Carlos Alberto Daniels Castillo (born April 14, 1992), known professionally as Carl Daniels, is a bilingual professional singer, songwriter, record producer and vocal coach of British ancestry on the father's side and Dominican on the mother's side. Raised by a humble and christian family, Daniels started making music at a very young age. After performing in various musical shows in high school, church and other local stages, as well as creating and participating in variously mixed groups and A Cappella music groups throughout his entire youth, he decided to pursue a musical career and for this he moved to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, after graduating. Daniels began preparing vocally and musically at GD Academy, with popular vocal coach Geraldo Ulloa, also known as Geraldrummer (Dominican composer).
As an actor, Carl Daniels is known for "Shotgun Wedding" (Feature Film) directed by Jason Moore and "Saint X" (TV Series) on Hulu.
Carl's a fresh concept that adapts to a wide range of musical styles (All-Around Player), thanks to his great vocal versatility and unique voice color influenced by the R&B/Soul and Gospel. As a child, he was greatly influenced by artists such as Marc Anthony, Luis Fonsi, Juan Luis Guerra 4.40 all the way up to Bob Marley, Sting, Michael Jackson, to name a few. Carl also incorporates sounds inspired by Reggae, Electronic (EDM) and Latin Jazz in his work.
